Description
The Mediana A15 AED Battery is a replacement battery for the Mediana A15 Automated External Defibrillator, used for treating someone who is unresponsive, non-breathing and pulseless for the adult and paediatric in all areas of a hospital, pre-hospital, public access and alternate care.
The AED uses a non-rechargeable battery that must be replaced when necessary by another Mediana A15 AED Battery. The battery is a LiMnO2 Non-Rechargeable, disposable battery with a 2-year shelf life and 5-year standby life.
Uses
The Mediana A15 AED Battery is used as a replacement battery for the Mediana A15 Automated External Defibrillator.
Application
Replacing the Mediana Heart-On AED Battery
- Pull up while pushing the handle / battery detachable button, and disconnect the handle / battery
- Tilt up the handle / battery and then keep the handle / battery detachable button and AED Connector perpendicular
- Connect the AED and handle / battery by using the hook
- With the handle / battery being connected to the AED by hook, connect the handle / battery connector and hook of the AED
- When both of the connection parts are fastened properly, the clink sound will be emitted
- The device should automatically turn on when the new battery is installed and will conduct a self-test. After the batter insertion self-test is completed, the AED may then be powered off
