The Deluxe Maternity Belt is an easily adjustable contoured support belt with hook and loop closure, and is made from durable elastic strapping material for the patient comfort and support. The belt has a low profile shape for improved fit when sitting, and helps to relieve back pain, Pubic Symphysis pain and Sacro-iliac pain. The depth of the belt at the rear is 15cm which tapers to 13.5cm at the front to fit snuggly under the patients tummy to help to support it.
Sizes:
• Small: 38 – 40 inches, or 90 – 102cm.
• Medium: 40 – 42 inches, or 102 – 108cm.
• Large: 42 – 46 inches, or 108 – 116cm.
• Extra-Large: 46 – 49 inches, or 116 – 126cm.
Uses
This Deluxe Maternity Belt is used to help relieve lower back pain during pregnancy, Pubic Symphysis pain and Sacro-iliac pain. The belt can also be used during post-natal recovery.
Application
• Place the maternity belt over the sacro-iliac joints at the back
• Wrap the maternity belt around the pelvis, directing either side of the maternity belt around the lower abdomen and across the pubic bone
• Close the belt at the front using the hook and loop fastening
• Ensure that the maternity belt has enough support for the patient and that it is not too tight
