BV Maternity Pads are high absorption capacity pads that are typically used in the days following the birth of a baby. These pads are designed to avoid lateral leaks. They also have a non-adherent white contact layer, as well as white polypropylene, tissue paper with spread properties, cellulose pulp, tissue paper and Non-woven SMS with 100% polypropylene & hydrophobic properties.
There are 10 BV Maternity Pads per packet, and each one measures 30cm x 10cm.
Uses
In general, maternity pads are designed for post-partum patients or following gynaecological operations. The BV Maternity Pads have a high absorbent capacity and are designed to avoid lateral leaks.
Application
- Wash your hands both before and after changing the BV Maternity Pads
- To apply, simply attach the BV Maternity Pad to the inside of the underwear when needed
- For use immediately after birth, it is recommended to change maternity pads every 1 – 2 hours to stay fresh and to ward off infection – this will then reduce to every 3 to 4 hours over the next 2 to 3 days
