The Protexis Latex Essential Gloves are sterile, powder free, surgical gloves that deliver protection and an enhanced tactile sensitivity. They are versatile gloves that can be used in a wide variety of surgical environments and are also an excellent choice as an outer glove in a double-gloving system complemented with a coloured under-glove. The gloves are made of natural rubber latex, but are thinner in comparison to other latex gloves, which enhances the tactile sensitivity. The Protexis Latex Essential Gloves have an interlocking, beaded cuff design that helps to prevent roll-down and are designed to protect in a broad range of cases. They have a proprietary hand mold with an independent thumb design that allows for an anatomical fit and natural movement in the fingers, thumb and palm. The gloves have a nitrile coating for superior donning and flexibility and are cream in colour. The gloves have a finger thickness of 0.19mm, palm thickness of 0.21mm and a cuff thickness of 0.16mm. There are 50 gloves per box.

Uses
The Protexis Latex Essential Gloves can be used as a biological barrier to protect the hands from contamination and dirt. They are ideal for general surgery, and also make a great outer glove option when double gloving.
Application
• To determine your size, simply measure the circumference of the palm of your hand in inches
• Remove the Protexis Latex Essential Gloves from the packaging
• Ensure that the fingers are in the correct place
• Using the palm, pull the glove over the hand – it is important to ease the glove onto the hand
• Make sure your digits fill the fingers comfortably
• Repeat the process with the other hand
• Take the gloves off from the cuff – this ensures any contamination is then on the outside
• Roll the other glove over the removed glove, ensuring that there is no further contamination
