The PharmaCare Silicone Foam Dressing is ideal for absorbing heavy discharge. This dressing is made of PU waterproof film, a soft silicone contact layer, a super absorbent PU foam and PE release film. It has high absorbency but maintains moist healing environment. This breathable dressing rapidly removes exudate and allows for an atraumatic removal. It is ideal for sensitive skin.
These are single use only, and come in a pack of 6.

Uses
The PharmaCare Silicone Foam Dressing can be used during all wound healing stages. Also suitable for 2nd degree burns (post burn), skin graft donor and recipient sites, post-surgery wound and infected wounds with copious exudate. Can be used for cavity wounds such as ulcers (pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, arterial ulcers and venous ulcers).
Application
- Remove the PharmaCare Silicone Foam Dressing from the packaging
- Clean the affected area
- Carefully remove the dressing from the individual packaging, ensuring it stays sterile
- Place the silicone foam over the affected area, making sure the area is fully covered
- The dressing is self-adherent, so ensure that it is secure on the skin
