The PharmaCare Paraffin Gauze Dressing is a sterile, non-medicated dressing. It promotes a moist healing environment and acts as a primary contact layer between the wound and your absorbent dressing. The exudate can pass through the paraffin gauze dressing into the absorbent pad. This gauze dressing allows for easy removal when changing the dressing.
These are single use only, and come in a pack of 10.

Uses
The PharmaCare Paraffin Gauze Dressing can be used as a primary wound contact layer in the treatment of exuding wounds. This includes minor burns and scalds (post burn treatment), skin loss wounds, lacerations and abrasions, skin grafts, donor sites and traumatic wounds and ulcers.
Application
- Remove the PharmaCare Paraffin Gauze Dressing from the packaging
- Carefully clean the affected area
- Open the individual packaging to remove the dressing
- Gently place over the affected area, ensuring the entire area has been covered
- Hold in place and secure with secondary absorbent dressing, using a bandage or tape to secure it to the skin
