The PharmaCare Kids Nebulizer is a portable, compressor nebulizer designed for babies and children. The nebulizer has a cartoon hippo design that makes it more appealing to children, and user-friendly. It delivers medication effectively while operating at low noise levels, ensuring a more comfortable and stress-free experience. The compact, convenient design ensures easy handling, while the one-button operation makes this device simple to operate.
This nebulizer is designed to aid in the effective treatment of asthma, allergies, and other respiratory disorders. The compressor delivers air to the nebulizer; as it enters, the medication is converted into an aerosol of microscopic droplets for easy inhalation.

Uses
The PharmaCare Kids Nebulizer is intended for use in treatment of asthma, COPD and other respiratory ailments in which an aerosolized medication is required during therapy. This device delivers medicine effectively while operating at low noise levels, ensuring a more comfortable and stress-free experience.
Application
Preparing the Nebuliser for Use
- Remove the PharmaCare Kids Nebulizer from the packaging
- Clean and disinfect the nebuliser kit and optional mask before using them for the first time
- Also, clean and disinfect the nebuliser kit and mask before use if the device has not been used for a long period of time. Different persons should never use the same nebuliser to avoid the risk of cross infection
- If the device is not stored at 10-40°C, please let it stand for at least 30 minutes before using
- To attach the air tube, push the Air Plug on one end of the Air Tube onto the Air Tube Connector on the front side of the compressor
- Push the Air Plug on the other end of the Air Tube onto the Air Tube Connector on the bottom of the Nebuliser Kit
Using the Device
- Place the device on a stable, sturdy, flat surface horizontally, such that the unit can be easily reached when you are seated. Place the device at least 10cm away from walls
- Make sure the device is in the “off” (0) position by pressing on the right side of the switch
- Insert the power plug into an electrical outlet
- Rotate the inhalation top counterclockwise to remove the inhalation top from the medication tank
- Add the correct amount of prescribed medication to the medication tank
- Turn the inhalation top clockwise until securely closed
- Attach the desired inhalation accessory
- To use the device, switch on the power
- Ensure the inhalation tube is plugged into the Air Plug under the cover of the device, and the other side of the tube is plugged into the vent port at the bottom of the Nebuliser Kit
- Plug the Nebuliser Kit into the holder on the device
- Press the O/I button
- The device should begin to nebulise
- Press the O/I button to safely terminate the operation of the nebuliser
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet after using the device
- Please note that the patient and operator must keep a distance from the device within 20cm to 50cm in normal use
Using the Mask
- When using either the child mask or the adult mask, place the mask over the nose and mouth
- Pull the elastic strap over the head, gently pull the strap to securely hold the mask over the nose and mouth
- Exhale normally through the mask
Cleaning the Device
- Following the cleaning instructions after each use will prevent any remaining medication in the bottle from drying resulting in the device not nebulising effectively and will help prevent infections
- You can disinfect daily by soaking the parts of the device in vinegar solution or using a commercially available medical disinfectant
- If your physician or respiratory therapist specifies a different cleaning procedure follow their instructions
- Disconnect all the parts of the device
- Make a solution 1 part white vinegar 3 parts distilled water
- Submerge the parts in the solution for 30 minutes
- Remove parts and discard the solution. Rinse the parts with hot tap water
- Hand dry or air dry in a clean environment using soft, clean lint free cloth
- Assembly the nebuliser and store the nebuliser kit in a dry, sealed bag
