Optilube Zero is a sterile, clear, colourless lubricating jelly that is designed for medical use. The formulation contains zero carbomers, zero parabens, and zero chlorhexidine (CHG), making it a gentle, non-irritating option for patients. It is non-sticky, non-greasy, non-staining, and is easily rinsed off with water.
This water-soluble, high-viscosity gel provides effective lubrication to assist with the insertion of medical instruments during a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. It is suitable for use with rubber and plastic medical devices, provided compatibility is confirmed. Each sachet of Optilube Zero is designed for single use, helping to maintain high standards of infection control while reducing the risk of patient-to-patient contamination and minimising product waste.
