Mepore is a self-adherent dressing that absorbs blood and exudate. The backing film is water-repellent, so that it covers and protects the wound from outside contamination. The dressing provides gentle fixation and is easy to use while being comfortable and conformable for the patient.

Mepore can be used with a wide variety of low to moderately exuding wounds, such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions.
Take a Mepore dressing from the box and remove the packaging. Grip both overlapping release films, exposing the adhesive surface allowing the initial fixation of the dressing.
Position the dressing on the skin without stretching, and gently remove the rest of the release papers. Firmly smooth the adhesive border to obtain proper adhesion. Do not stretch the dressing when applying.
