Description
The Geratherm Oxy One Pulse Oximeter is a compact, powerful measuring device that provides users with a simple and reliable means of monitoring your vital signs. It offers a quick and precise measurement of oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate in just 8 seconds. Thanks to modern sensor technology and an intelligent algorithm, it provides reliable results with the push of a button—simple, painless, and without any blood sampling. The high-contrast display clearly shows the measurements, and an audible warning signal alerts you if oxygen saturation falls below 94%. The device has a large font display with an LED screen that shows both pulse rate and SpO2, and has an auto shut down if no signal is detected within 30 seconds.
Compact and lightweight, the Geratherm Oxy One Pulse Oximeter is the perfect companion for home, on the go, or during sports. Whether for regular monitoring in respiratory conditions like asthma or COPD, post-COVID recovery, or for athletic activities such as high-altitude and endurance sports— this device ensures you always keep track of your oxygen saturation and pulse rate. For athletes, particularly in high-altitude or endurance sports, pulse oximeters can be very useful as they may suffer from altitude sickness due to reduced oxygen saturation at high elevations, only typically diagnosed only through symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, loss of appetite, irritability, shortness of breath, or confusion. By monitoring your values, you can gain a better overview of your performance and adjust your training or activities accordingly.
Uses
The Geratherm Finger Pulse Oximeter Oxy One is intended for the spot-checking of oxygen saturation and pulse rate for use with the finger of adult patients. The oximeter is suitable for home health monitoring.
Application
Using the Pulse Oximeter
- Please read all instructions within the instruction manual prior to use
- Remove Geratherm Oxy One Pulse Oximeter from its packaging
- Install two AAA batteries into the battery compartment

- Note: the fingernail should be facing the top of the chamber which contains the sensor. The finger should also be inserted completely into the chamber – otherwise, the measurement will be inaccurate
- Press the power-on button to turn onthe pulse oximeter
- The finger and body should be as still as possible during measurement to ensure accuracy
- The data should be displayed on the LED screenand can be read. The sound will alert the user when the blood oxygen levels fall below the 94% threshold
Helpful Tips
- Ensure that your nail surface is facing upward when inserting the finger into the pulse oximeter
- Results may be inaccurate if the do not place your finger fully into the oximeter
- Please use medical alcohol to clean the silicon which touches the finger inside of the oximeter, and use alcohol to clean the test finger before and after each test (it is medical silicon, which has no toxins and does no harm to the skin)
- The sound function is only used to remind the user to check their blood oxygen level and is not used for any alarm purposes. Any time users have doubts about their blood oxygen saturation level, they should check their blood oxygen measurement as soon as possible
Cleaning the Pulse Oximeter
The Pulse Oximeter should be cleaned on a regular basis. If there is heavy pollution or lots of dust and sand in your area, the equipment should be cleaned more frequently. The recommended cleaning agent is 70% Ethanol.
To clean your pulse oximeter:
