Description
The BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage is a latex-coated elastic cohesive retention bandage made from viscose and polyester, that sticks securely to itself. It is used for the secure fixation of wound dressings and plaster splints, as well as light support. It is a non sterile dressing, and only a 30% overlap is required when using the dressing.
The BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage is lightweight and is highly conformable, which makes it ideal for dressing bony prominences without impairing movement. It is has both elastic and cohesive properties, and its unique construction makes it ideal for patients with allergies to adhesives, as the latex coating ensures that the bandage sticks only to itself, and not to the patient’s skin.
The BSN Easifix Cohesive Self Adhesive Bandage also offers excellent moisture vapour permeability, and can be cut as required from the roll, making it an extremely cost-effective dressing option.
