BSN Leukomed T is a sterile post-op dressing for fixation and protection. It is a water and bacteria proof transparent film dressing that reliably secures cannulae and protects dry wounds.

BSN Leukomed T reliably holds catheters, compresses and other medical devices in place. It protects non-secreting wounds from friction and shear. The transparent film facilitates permanent wound inspection without dressing changes, and the red handling tape allows an easy and quick application – even with gloves.

BSN Leukomed T is sterile, skin friendly and has good initial and permanent adhesion. It is stretchable and is highly conformable. The latex-free dressing leaves no residue when removing, and allow patients to shower at an early stage, or to receive hydrotherapy.

BSN Leukomed T dressings have a unique, red strip release mechanism allowing quick, simple one-hand application.

Uses

BSN Leukomed T dressings provides effective protection from water and bacteria, and reliably secures cannulae and protect dry wounds. They are for non-exuding wounds and waterproof peripheral or central catheter fixation.

The transparent film dressing reduces risk of maceration, as they are permeable to water vapour and oxygen. The dressings have a reliable initial and permanent adhesion, and have rounded edges that prevent rucking.

BSN Leukomed T dressings are easy to use, as they have a red strip release mechanism allowing quick, simple one-hand application, and allows quick dressing changes. BSN Leukomed T dressings allow patients to shower at an early stage, or to receive hydrotherapy.

Application

Hold the wound dressing at the red handling tape. Remove the top layer of the release paper.
Using the handling tape,
the wound dressing can be applied accurately to the wound. Remove the second layer of release paper.
Carefully press
the film dressing onto the skin, especially around the edges. Full skin contact ensures that the dressing is waterproof and a bacterial barrier.
Remove the application film in one go using the red handling tape.
To remove, pull off the film dressing evenly using one of the edges – painless and gentle on the skin.
