Description
Sani-Cloth PDI Surface Wipes are a 70% alcohol disinfectant surface wipe, for disinfecting surfaces, medical and other general devices including patient shared equipment. They are a disposable disinfection wipe, and an effective bacterial action against MRSA, E-Coli, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and a diverse range of micro-organisms. The high dosage liquid on the wipes guarantees good surface coverage, and they start to work within a 1 minute contact time.
Sani-Cloth PDI Surface Wipes comply to Medical Device Directive as a class IIA medical device.
There are 200 wipes in a tub of Sani-Cloth PDI Surface Wipes.
Uses
Sani-Cloth PDI Surface Wipes are used as a high level disinfectant for home use, or hospital/professional use. These wipes can be used for disinfection of non-invasive medical devices, and to decontaminate a device prior to sterilisation/high level disinfection.
Application
For Home Use:
Sani-Cloth PDI Surface Wipes are disposable and should normally be used after a detergent wipe for disinfecting work tops or a bedside table.
It should not usually be used on a regular basis on wipe clean mattresses or vinyl chairs as it is known to damage synthetic material.
In order to kill the germs the surface must remain wet for a minimum of 1 minute.
Please wear gloves when using alcohol wipes. Dispose of wet wipes in a bin.
For hospital/professional use:
Sani-Cloth PDI Surface Wipes should be used as a high level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that comes in contact with the bloodstream, any surface or instrument introduced into the body, or any surface or instrument used to pre-clean medical devices before sterilization has occurred.
