5The BV Non-Sterile, Non-Woven Swabs are made from 67% viscose and 33% polyester, while also being highly absorbent, and 100% particle and dust free.

The BV Non-Sterile, Non-Woven Swabs absorb up to 10 times its own weight of 30g per mitre, and is ideal for coping with lightly or moderately exuding wounds.

Each pack of BV Non-Sterile Non-Woven Swabs is in a steam sterilised paper pouch that ensures the sterility and integrity of each non-woven swab.

The approximate weight of the BV Non-Sterile Non-Woven Swabs is 30, 40 and 50g/sq.m.

There are 100 BV Non-Sterile Non-Woven Swabs per packet.

Uses

The BV Non-Sterile Non-Woven Swabs are used for wound dressing and cleansing. They are used in the treatment of lightly or moderately exuding wounds.

Application

Remove the BV Non-Sterile Non-Woven Swabs from the packaging.

The BV Non-Sterile Non-Woven Swabs can be placed on a wound to clean and wipe the area.

Ointment can also be put on the BV Non-Sterile Non-Woven Swabs before cleaning the wound, if needed.

BV Non-Sterile Non-Woven Swabs can be used as a second dressing, if necessary. They can be put on the inside of a plaster or dressing to help the wound heal sooner and to stop any bleeding.
