The Burnshield Burn Bag Kit is a small and convenient kit in a nylon bag with hook straps and is ideal for minor burns and scalds. The items in this kit are individually labelled with instructions for use.
The Burnshield Burn Bag Kit contains:
- 1 x Burnshield Hydrogel 10ml tube
- 1 x Burnshield Digit Dressing – 25mm x 500mm
- 3 x Burnshield Burn Blott Sachets – 3.5ml
- 2 x Proform Bandages – 50mm
- 8 x Waterproof Plasters
- 1 x Plastipore Plastic Tape
- 1 x Pair of Levtex Gloves
- 1 x Burnshield Pocket Guide
Uses
The Burnshield Burn Bag Kit is used for minor burns and scalds. The kit is suitable for retail, work, travel or domestic use.
Application
How to apply Burnshield Hydrogel:
• Remove the lid
• Apply the gel to the burn area
• Ensure to apply the gel beyond the burn area
• Cover with a plaster or a non-adherent bandage
• Re-apply Burnshield Hydrogel when necessary in order to prevent the wound from dehydrating
• Seek medical attention if needed
How to apply a Burnshield Dressing:
• Open the sterile package
• Remove the Foam Dressing from package
• Apply the Foam Dressing over the wound
• Secure the Foam dressing with a non-adherent bandage
• Re-apply Burnshield Hydrogel to the dressing when necessary in order to prevent the wound from dehydrating
• Seek medical attention if needed
